Computational biology and the “Omics” big data facilitate the understanding of molecular mechanisms of diseases and their regulation in an integrative way. Our research aims to advance scientific understanding of the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis linking common diseases, mainly focusing on:

• Genomics, metagenomics, and environmental factors in human health and disease
• Common genetic variants and prognostic biomarker screening: from detection to underlying mechanisms, linking diseases
• The common mechanistic link regulating Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), and other progressive inflammatory disorders like Obesity, Hypertension (HT), Cardiovascular diseases (CAD), and Cancer that commonly occur in the Bangladeshi population
